A wonderful choice working condition iron lock and key from a larger late renaissance chest, European, c. 1650 AD.

The lock finely made and with a matching key from the period. Note the Gothic bow and the complicated cross-shaped slot.

Size: 16,5 cm. wide and 15 cm. tall. The key is 10,4 cm. long.

Condition: Superb for this early type of lock, fully working condition and can be installed. Nice collection patina.

Provenance: Danish Private collection of Grethe Pedersen, Ledøje, Denmark, ca. 1950-1997.
