This is another Crummles England enameled pill box I have to offer. The picture on the top is an Victorian 19th century scene of a woman with two children. The woman or milk maiden has a yoke on her shoulders to carry the milk in the containers in front of her and offering the children a cup of it. Open the piece and on the inside lid is a drawing of a cat licking up spilled milk with Milk below Maids in script below. The base of this piece is a dark brown and the bottom has the Crummles hallmark with Made in England and Crummles & Co. around it. This measures 1 3/4" in diameter and is 1" tall. Perfect condition with no enamel loss.
