This 19th century Swiss pocket watch is made of gilded 800 silver and is decorated with a stunning hand- painted, iridescent enamel peacock. He is standing on the edge of a building. There is a decorative gold leaf design surrounding the peacock with an iridescent emerald green background. The border is made up of about 40 tiny genuine seed pearls.
The reverse side of the pocket watch, which also contains about 40 seed pearls, is surrounded by a narrow emerald green iridescent enamel band. The gold watch hands are intact and the face is in good condition.
The watch is in good working order and is very good quality. A unique peacock guilloche enamel pocket watch!
