DETAILS
This wooden, antique chimneypiece is finely carved in oak and has a tall, carved overmantel with porringer corners on the deep cornice, above a large mirrored trumeau. The firebox features an ogee arch and carved scrolls and details.
PROVENANCE
Fireplace from Fanny Brice's Mansion (North Faring Road, Los Angeles, CA, built 1938). Fanny Brice (American, 1891-1951) was a popular headliner at Ziegfeld Follies.
