Exquisitely beautiful .... this fine Georgian necklace with her amazing interwoven links and a lovely clasp in deep, rich buttery yellow gold !!.

She is hand crafted in a true Regency period style and hails from around 1820-1840. Rarely do we see a necklace from this period and she is a true beauty ! Her links have such intricate detail - the wonderful workmanship and the jeweller's skill are evident in every tiniest detail your eye is drawn to. They are beautifully interwoven, creating a stunning 3-D effect. She also features a fine rectangular clasp with an oval, chased detail. The clasp had originally been enamelled and the enamel has come away over time.

The necklace is not hallmarked and have been tested to confirm the gold as 9 karat. There is a mark "CT" on the tongue of the clasp, which may be a remnant of a hallmark or a maker's mark. She is is 19.5 inches long, 3.45 mm in thickness and weighs 3.9 grams. There has been a repair where the chain joins a clasp but it is not noticeable and secure. The clasp is in great condition and closes securely. Apart from the repair mentioned, this fabulous piece of jewellery is in fantastic antique condition.

We love ... this incredible necklace for too many reasons to mention. She is truly a collector's piece and a stunning treasure of a heirloom to enjoy.
