Fenton Colonial Amber Hobnail Finger Courting Lamp Electric

Vintage small electric amber hobnail glass finger lamp made by Fenton Glass Company of Ohio, USA. The base has an applied glass handle and the shade has a pretty ruffled top. This pattern of glass was called "Colonial Amber" and was produced by Fenton between 1959 and 1982. They made many different decorative pieces of glassware in this pattern. The lamp was sold with either an oil burning fitter or an electric one. This lamp has the original Fenton electric fitter. The fitter screws in or out easily and it could be replace with an oil burning fitter if desired. The socket takes a standard size base bulb but a lower wattage bulb would be better to use for the glass shade might get too hot and crack with a higher wattage.

Height including shade approximately 9".
Opening for oil or electric fitter approximately 3/4".

Condition: It is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. The original cord is in good condition and the lamp works.
