Hand Carved & Painted Shore Bird - Monk
This vintage carving of a shore bird is by noted Whitman, MA carver Harry monk (1916-2010). It is 7” in length, about 3 1/2” tall without stand and 21”/2 wide. The bird is hand carved and hand painted and has glass eyes. It has great detail and coloring of the features. The bird is stamped “H. MONK” on the underside. The driftwood stand is not included.
