For sale is a fabulous antique primitive painted pantry box that I found at a large antique mall in Ohio, and that I think was made either in Ohio or Pennsylvania. I believe that it dates from the late 19th to early 20th century, and the paint is old, if not original, with nice craquelure. A variety of nails have been used in its construction, most of which are square. The box measures about 8" in diameter and 3 3/4" tall, and is in nice antique condition, with nice oxidation and expected wear, but very solid with nothing loose. There is one small chip in the lid that does have paint in it, but it might have been there when it was made, although I don't know for sure. Please look carefully at the pictures as they are an important part of the description, and be sure to ask any questions. What a terrific addition to your primitive decor, great for storing small items!
