For sale is a wonderful antique painted footstool that I found in Pennsylvania, and I think was probably made there as well. I believe that it probably dates to the early 1900's, and has been painted salmon and black. I love the form as well, having nice scallops on the legs. The footstool measures about 8" tall, 13 1/2" long, and 7" wide, and is in nice, but antique condition, with expected paint wear, but no major issues. It should be noted that the black appears to have been painted over the salmon, so I don't know for sure if it is original or not. It has definitely been on for awhile, though. Please look carefully at the pictures as they are an important part of the description, and be sure to ask any questions. What a terrific addition to your cottage primitive decor!
