For sale is an antique, probably 19th century primitive folk art tin document box that I found at an outdoor antique market in Indiana, but that was probably made in Pennsylvania or somewhere in New England. It has a simple sunflower design stenciled on the front, and the top also has stenciling in a diamond grid with flower forms in the corners. The box measures about 8 1/2" long, 5 1/2" tall not including the wire handle, and 4 1/2" wide. It is in antique condition, with most of the black japanning gone, and wear to the paint, as well as other signs of age. Please look carefully at the pictures as they are an important part of the description, and be sure to ask any questions. What a unique addition to your primitive decor!
