For sale is a terrific antique folk art wallpaper bandbox that I acquired from a sale in Vermont, and was made there as well. I found references to Woodstock, Vermont on the newspaper, as well as the dates August 3, 1825, March 3, 1824, June 14, 1823 and April 6, 1822. There may be other dates as well. The box is made of cardboard, and covered in a floral design with other designs as well, in teal, brown, yellow, and cream. It measures about 13" long, 10 1/2" wide, and 6 1/4" tall, and is in nice but antique condition, with expected age-related wear and stains, including a tear on the side of the lid which I have pictured, but fairly solid and usable. Please look carefully at the pictures as they are an important part of the description, and be sure to ask any questions. What a great addition to your cottage primitive decor!
