*****I am relisting this doll quilt because the main picture on the previous listing made it look like there are tabs all the way around the piece, and I don't even know what I set the quilt on for pictures that made it look like that, lol.*****
For sale is a very sweet antique late 19th to early 20th century primitive handmade folk art true doll quilt that I acquired recently in Pennsylvania, and that I believe was made there as well. It has been hand pieced and hand quilted using a black and white polka dot, a cinnamon pink/red calico, and a black calico for the backing that has been turned to the front to form the binding. There is the tiniest bit of cotton filling, that I only determined was there because I could see a seed or two when I held it up to the light. The doll quilt measures about 16 1/2" x 13 1/2", and is in very nice antique condition, with minor surface dirt and a few very tiny brown spots, but no holes, rips, or repairs. Please look carefully at the pictures as they are an important part of the description, and be sure to ask any questions. What a darling addition to your doll or quilt collection!
