For sale is a fabulous antique dated 1821 PA. folk art show towel that I acquired when I was in Pennsylvania awhile back. It is made of homespun linen, with 2 different pairs of embroidered birds, one pair flanking what looks like a poinsettia, and the other atop a tree, I believe. In between the pairs of birds is a candelabra, I believe, although I'm not certain, and there are 2 different rows of drawn work, as well as the date, and the initials "E. W.". The towel measures about 30 1/2" x 13 1/2", and is in very nice antique condition, with no noticeable staining, and just some minor damage to the drawn work. Please look carefully at the pictures as they are an important part of the description, and be sure to ask any questions. What a sweet addition to your collection!
