For sale is a wonderful antique, probably late 19th to early 20th century quilt, or technically a comforter, that is done in what I'm calling a 4-patch inside 9-patch pattern. I acquired it on a recent trip to the Midwest and East Coast. I think that each square may be unique, and they alternate with red calico, which also forms the border, and the backing is a fabulous brown floral print fabric. The piece is hand knotted, and is thickly stuffed with cotton or wool. It measures about 87" x 69", and is in nice antique condition, with a few minor stains, but no significant issues. Please look carefully at the pictures as they are an important part of the description, and be sure to ask any questions. What a fabulous addition to your cottage primitive decor!
