For sale is a wonderful antique late 19th to early 20th century Pennsylvania schoolgirl practice sampler that I acquired at a large antique market in Columbus, Ohio. It is done primarily in red and white, with a bit of blue, exhibiting the maker's skill in a variety of needlework techniques, and the edge is hand crocheted. At the bottom there is a red and blue insignia of some kind, but I'm not really sure what is represents. The sampler measures about 15 1/4" x 11 3/4", and is in very nice antique condition, with just one very small light brown spot, barely worth noting, but mentioned for the sake of complete accuracy. Please look carefully at the pictures as they are an important part of the description, and be sure to ask any questions. What a great addition to your collection of antique needlework and/or textiles that would be wonderful in a period frame!
