For sale is a wonderful graphic antique homespun show towel with a hand appliqued triple tulip design that came from the collection of Donald and Patricia Herr. Each tulip design is different, but completed using the same fabrics, and there is a hand applied ruffle on each end. There is hand written documentation with the towel indicating that it was purchased at Renninger's market, which is in Adamstown, PA., and the the seller found it in Lebanon County. In addition, at some point, a piece of Velcro was hand sewn to a separate piece of fabric for displaying the towel. It measures about 39" x 15 1/2", and is in nice, but antique condition, with some popping and small holes on the red fabric, and some scattered small brown stains on both the front and back, but very displayable. Please look carefully at the pictures as they are an important part of the description, and be sure to ask any questions. What a fabulous addition to your antique textile collection, great in your cottage primitive decor!
