Thank you for considering this incredibly rare 19th century gold washed sterling silver flatware and goblet travel set. Dated around 1863. This is an impressive set, each piece decorated with elegant detail. Each is decorated with beautiful motifs of grape vines and cherubs. The carrying case makes this lot very special and rare, built to perfectly hold the set safely. The set was made by Chauncer, and crafted by Mr. George Adams in London, England.
No monograms are present, and condition is good as shown. Some nicks and mild wear have occurred as normal with use and age.
Includes:
1 fork (7 1/8" long)
1 knife (8.5" long)
1 spoon (7.25" long)
1 goblet (5 1/8" tall, 3/25" wide)
1 case (10" x 10" wide and 4.75" deep)
Would make a wonderful addition to any collection.
Please feel free to send inquiries. Please examine each photograph closely.
