HERE’S AN ORIGINAL VINTAGE 1940S MODERN ART DECO “PINK” POTTERY VASE MADE BY THE CHADWICK CHINA COMPANY OF TRENTON, NEW JERSEY THAT DISPLAYS A CLASSIC ART DECO PETAL-FORM SHAPE ON A STEPPED CIRCULAR BASE WITH TWO SWANS POSITIONED LOWER ON THE BODY TO ACT AS HANDLES!
Measuring approximately eight and one half inches (8 1/2”) in height, four and one eighth inches (4 1/8”) in diameter across the top, by three inches (3”) in diameter across the base, this original vintage 1940s art pottery vase is marked on the underside bottom with the company’s impressed model number “418” Originally, this vase would have carried a paper label for the Chadwick China Company.
Condition: Excellent and clean condition – absolutely beautiful!
Please Note: The Chadwick China Company had its manufacturing operations at 1150 Southard Street in Trenton, New Jersey during a two year period from about 1945-1946. They appeared in a Trenton city directory in 1946. The building was purchased in 1948 and is now occupied by Trenton Printing Company.
