The color combination in this beautiful set is unique and very striking, yellow and deep purple rhinestones set in a gold-plated setting making this stunning set very special. The screw-back earrings drop to 2 inches and are not what we usually see in a Kramer set which is usually clip clusters. Each piece of this set is marked Kramer of NY. The necklace measures 15.5 inches long end to end. with a hook closure. The brooch is approximately 1.75 inches. Excellent vintage condition, just a gorgeous set. I have seen this design used in several Christian Dior by Kramer sets. Circa: Late 1940s-50s

Louis Kramer was one of the top American costume jewelry designers from the 20th century. His New York-based company produced jewelry from 1943 until 1980. Kramer is well known for using only the finest Austrian crystal in his pieces. His designs were so exemplary that he was tapped by Christian Dior for his jewelry in the 1950s.
