The Regent Jewelry Company, NYC founded in the 1950s by Mr. Polowitz introduced the "Regency" jewelry line. Using spectacular colored stones, faux pearls, and glass, pieces were set in gold-tone, silver-tone and a Japanned metal finish to complement dark-hued rhinestones, giving the jewelry a very distinctive look. The jewelry was sold directly to department stores in New York, Chicago, and other large cities. The company closed its doors in 1972. High-quality, stunning pieces.
