The weight, 60.7 gms, should give you some idea of the 'heft' of this beautiful bracelet.
Hand made, hand hammered ca. 1880-1910, this bracelet is done very much in the style of Kalo of Chicago.
The style of the letters is earlier than those made by Kalo and we look at them as a graphic design and not just as a monogram. The BLB letters are polished smooth in contrast to the hand hammered background.
No maker's marks. Tests positive for Sterling grade Silver.
Excellent antique condition. There is little flex because of the thickness of the silver.
Approx. 6 1/2" inside circumference, approx. 1 1/4" opening. 1 1/2" wide. Gage of silver is quite thick as can be seen in photos - especially the letters.
