This pair of pillowcases has an unusual feature: each has a hand-embroidered decorative insert across the front. The inserts are not only embroidered by hand, they also feature drawn-thread work, an Italian specialty. The edges of these pillow cases are trimmed with handmade French Cluny lace. The pillowcases are 100% cotton. They are creamy white in color but would whiten up if washed. (They are as found from the estate sale). Each measures 21 1/2" wide and 33" long. These pillowcases are very decorative. They would be lovely in front if you stack pillows on your bed.
