Fine rare pair of triple light candelabrum made in Persia (modern day Iran) during the Persian Campaign when Persian was divided into Northern and Southern spheres of influence through the Anglo-Russian Convention of 1907 which continued until the Russian Revolution of 1917.
Marked with the Russian 84 zolotnik mark which equals 875 purity. Also marked with the Farsi hallmark for 875 purity and an unknown makers mark. (see pictures). There are in excellent condition. Arms are NOT bent as they appear in the photo, it was just the angle of the shot. There are no major scratches or dents.
Each candlestick stands about 10 3/4" tall and are 8 3/4" wide. The bases are about 4 3/8" in diameter and the candle cups are 2" in diameter.
Candlesticks are heavily (and beautifully) chased/engraved over their entire surface with the exception of the candle arms and underside of the candle cups. One weighs 503 grams, the second weight 508 grams.
