Traditionally worn by a gentleman to hang his pocket watch from, but today worn as a chunky necklace, this is a great antique graduating sterling silver Albert watch chain dating from the Edwardian era with a shield watch fob pendant dating from the time of the 1st World War, 1918. Both the watch chain and fob are hallmarks, both are marked with the Birmingham assay office, the chain the date letter for 1905, the fob 1918. The links of the chain are marked with the silver lion mark. To one end of the chain is a T bar pendant the other a secure dog clip clasp with a good spring. Good graduation to the chain which is long enough to be worn around the neck as a necklace. Simply fabulous.
