Mr. Eltemtamy is an outstanding artist. Unfortunately his work is quite rare, since he spends a good deal of his time, months at a time, back in Egypt
He studied with Sam Newton, the iconic original Highwaymen artist. He has also been influenced by other Highwaymen Artists, including Backus, McLendon, and others. He began in 2002 when he sought one of his favorite and most recognizable legendary Florida Highwaymen artist Sam Newton. When Eltemtamy showed Newton his works Sam responded with "You need to be the one giving the lessons.". From here Eltemtamy personally trained with Sam Newton for 6 months where he really learned to paint from the Florida master himself.
Ahmed's art has increased steadily in value, and I believe his talent equals (and in many cases exceeds) that of the Highwaymen. By the way, I am paying considerably more than many of his realized prices, since subject matter, expertise, and availability are the controlling factors for me. I have seen some "bargains" that just don't reach what I present. Collectors must be careful not to compare oranges to apples!
This is representative of his best work. It is one of only three of his paintings that I have, although I am always looking to buy more.
