This small shoe last has a pointed shape with the toe squared off. Old wooden lasts like this have been used by cobblers for generations. Hammering wet leather over these wood forms is the basis for making a shoe. There is a metal plate on the heel and on the toe of this form. Stamped into the wood is the number 3 1/2 and stamped into the leather cap on the top it just looks like the number 3. There is a hole drilled into the heel which was typical so the last could be hung for storage.

It measures about 6” long by 2 5/8” across the ball of the foot and almost 3” high. It is in nice but used condition with tiny nail holes on the sole and also on the side.

The pictures are not shown at actual size. Please refer to the description for actual measurements.
