These tiny tin molds could have been used for teacakes or candies but they could be displayed in an old miniature kitchen display for fun. There are three shapes, round with a wide, fluted edge, triangular with a narrow fluted edge and one that looks like a squirrel with a nut or possibly a rabbit with an egg. They are made of tin and are plated, possibly with zinc which was common in very early kitchenware.
The circle measure about 1 ½” in diameter, each side of the triangle measures about 1 5/8” and the animal form measures about 2 1/8” long. They are all in good, used condition with minor discoloration and plating loss.
Priced and sold as the group of three (3).
