8" x 10" black and white portrait photograph of this beautiful Mexican born actress, Katy Jurado (B: 1/16/1924-D: 7/05/2002). An early 1950's photo with snipe at rear of photo describing her Hollywood debut with Gary Cooper in Stanley Kramer's "High Noon". A blockbuster motion picture that was filmed in 1952 and also starred Grace Kelly. Katy Jurado won a Golden Globe award for Best Supporting Actress in that motion picture. Gary Cooper won the Academy Award for Best Actor in that movie as well. A nice portrait photograph from the early 1950's. The photo has some white spotting at the lower portion of the black fabric on her dress, however, I do not feel any residue and believe that the spots resulted from the processing of the photograph. Otherwise, a very nice photograph of a beautiful actress who started her acting career in Mexican films and would eventually go on to have a great Hollywood acting career.
