A sentimental Victorian hairwork and 9ct Rose gold watch chain or Albert chain.

Intricate woven and braided dark brown hair with engraved rose gold end caps and a hollow rose gold t bar.

It has a 9ct gold dog clip fastening at one end, this is a later replacement, it is a mourning piece, short in length possibly for a fob watch or pendant watch rather than a full size pocket watch.

It is marked 9c on the end caps, t bar also marked but marks rubbed.

Victorian era, c1890s.
