The rich deep red stones that shimmer from the faceted cuts, dancing flashes of wine red glistening over the path it casts in the light.

This antique Bohemian garnet cluster brooch is one such piece with its pretty floral design contrasting with the deep gothic red of the stones in a wonderful unison.

It has an ornate starburst style frame adorned with ruby bohemian garnets and is set into a silver gilt frame.

The brooch has a tiny loop at the top which could be used to add a safety chain or a pendant bale to wear as a pendant.

It has an old c type clasp and pin fastener.

Marks and era:
Unmarked, tests as 800 silver, Victorian era, C1880s.

Condition:
Fair used condition overall, surface wear and signs of use commensurate with age, lots of wear to the gilt finish, some of the stones settings are slightly misshapen.
