This fine 18th Century, Exceptional Portuguese Pair of Baroque Gilt Corinthian Capitals from an Altar, Wood Carved, Religious is in good Condition. It dates back to the 18th century. Featuring Elaborate Hand-Carved Detail with Original Gilt. Incredible Decoration with rocaille for a stunning room. In former times it was part of a wood decoration of a church.
It features floral designs & rocailles and the typical light colours, asymmetrical designs, curves, and gold plate of Rococo.
Item Condition: It has a beautiful patina. There are a few chips, flaws, and cracks on the wood, paint and gilt. Condition is appropriate for age and use. See photos for complete assessment.
