This is a 22" x 16" print of the 1884 'Nichols' Elexir Peruvian Bark & Protoxide of Iron', advertising by Billings, Clapp & Co. Bark and Iron'. The delightful little Scottish boy is wearing a red tam with 'Nichols' Bark and Iron' on the hat band and a red tartan shawl. It is in an old wooden oval frame which has been painted enamel red that was so popular in the 1960s. The print is in very good condition protected by plexiglass in the older frame.
