This is a copyright 1900, signed 19" x 13" balsa wood framed print on cardboard of Sir Wilfred Laurier, the 7th Prime Minister of Canada by Star Publishing Company. It includes a legal tender blue Canadian $5.00 bill with Prime Minister Laurier's photo on one side and a fishing boat on the other side. Laurier was the first French Canadian prime minister, his 15-year tenure remains the longest unbroken term of office among Canadian prime ministers and his nearly 45 years of service in the House of Commons is a record for the House. Laurier is best known for his compromises between English and French Canada. The print is in good condition with several light smudge marks.
