For sale here is an intriguing vintage 1970s original oil on canvas of an ethnic woman holding an umbrella in the period wood frame by American artist Linda Barron of San Diego California. This is an original artwork by an (obviously) talented and accomplished artist and the subject is a fascinating blend of ethnic traditional figure with a modern object! I purchased this painting at an estate sale in San Diego, and as shown in my photos, the artwork is by a native San Diegan artist. Measures 23-1/2" by 24-1/2" at the outside edge of the wood frame. Signed and dated at front as shown, and with a short bio of the artist attached at back. There is some wear to the outside edges of the frame, and the painting itself shows a little residue from age but no damage - please view the photos, read the description, and ask all questions prior to purchase.
