Here is a cute 1900 miniature music instrument for antique dolls!
This French mandolin is made of a material that looks like Bakelite.
It is in very good condition. It wears a black hand written inscription "Village Suisse" Paris 1900.
The current Swiss Village takes its name from a village in the Swiss Alps reconstituted, designed and executed by Charles Henneberg and Jules Allemand, for the Universal Exhibition of 1900, at the foot of the Ferris wheel of Paris.
The big wheel of Paris is disassembled from 1920 to 1922. The surroundings of a road where the Swiss Village of the Exhibition was located saw the creation of stalls and stores, some of which were run by ragpickers. Some people say that the ragpickers took over the gondolas of the Ferris wheel to run their businesses, announcing the future Swiss Village of antique dealers
