Original antique etching entitled "The Hamlet's Pride" dated from the 19th century. This etching was engraved by "W.Edwards " after a painting by " H.Room".
This piece is of an excelptional quality of execution, giving the complexity of the work. It usually takes up to a year for the engravor to prepare the metal plate that he carved by hand. The etching was cleaned by a hired profesionnal restorer after the acquisition.
