We are selling this fine Italian grand tour bronze figure. This figure is of a standing Antinous with a goatskin slung over his shoulder, after the antique discovered in Pompeii. This bronze was most likely made in Italy by a quality maker who cast open eyes which was typical of Greek ancient bronzes. This bronze was probably made in the early 19th century and has great surface patina.
