For your consideration is this pretty pair of salt and pepper shakers with guilloche enamel and sterling silver covers. Made by Hugo Grun & Co. in Copenhagen, Denmark, this hallmark was in use from 1918 to 1937. He remained in business until 1985. These are pressed glass and faceted barrel shaped with the sterling banded and fine guilloche enamel on the tops. One is cobalt blue the other is white. The silver work is quite fine and there is a small rope border around the edges of the top where the enamel begins. They measure 1.5" tall and taper to 1 1/8th" in diameter across the bottom. There is one tiny chip near the edge of the enamel on the white lid that is difficult to notice. No other damage to these at all. Fully hallmarked on the sides of the lids. These are lovely and the craftsmanship is top notch.
