Matted watercolor, paper is taped but would come off to reframe this.
Signed lower right Norris with NY and the date 12/16/76. In excellent condition with some very slight bending to the cardboard matting on the edges, but the watercolor on paper has no damage or condition problems and would look incredible in any setting with the vibrant colors.

This may be celebrated watercolor landscape artist Ben Norris (1910-2006) from the California Watercolor School who retired to New York in 1975. The date would line up to Ben Norris retiring to New York, and he was known for painting watercolors of where he lived. Ben Norris was self-taught and exhibited in New York at the Whitney Museum and at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
