Western Union 1940 Telegram and Holiday Greeting from Local Businesses
This is very cool holiday and advertising history, a Western Union Telegram sent to a resident in Canton, Mississippi from the local businesses to wish the customer Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

This is framed in a vintage frame ready to hang. Note that the telegram has a rip in the upper left corner, in the upper right corner, and middle of the right side. Please see these edges in the photos. There is also some missing paper in the lower left. The cardboard backing is held in place loosely with 2 little pieces, and I have added some tape to help keep the back cardboard in place. This is against the back cardboard, not the telegram itself.

This would make a very cool Christmas and holiday decoration, and an amazing gift for someone who appreciates or collects telegrams and ephemera.
