This Victorian Era Eastlake Wall Shelf is extremely unique. Below the actual shelf is a backboard which has alternating strips of the actual wood and ebonized black painted wood. The black strips have line carvings, while the actual wood strips are plain. The end supports are carved Griffins which add a whimsical touch.
The shelf could be used to hold a clock or various decorative objects, or even small books.
The shelf measures 28" long, 8-1/2" high, and 7" deep. The condition is good.
