Vintage Italian Florentine Jewelry Trinket Lidded Box with Gold Gilt Ivory Wood.

This lovely vintage Florentine wood box has a floral diamond shapes design with ivory wood and gold gilt. Handmade in Italy.

The Box is in very good vintage condition, and measures 5 7/8”Length x 4” Deep x 2” Tall. Made of lightweight wood. Some minor wear and scratches to the gesso here & there which only adds to its vintage charm. There is a sticker taped to the bottom that reads “John Wanamaker Import”. This was a Department Store founded in 1869 in Philadelphia. The Company merged with another company in the late 1970’s.

The Box was found in an Atlanta, Georgia area Estate. The Box weighs 5.15 ounces or 146 grams.
