From artist Charles Mondin (b. 1892 - d. ?), a serene Autumn view of the beauty and simplicity of an elderly Parisian walking with both cane and dog, along the banks of the River Seine with the Cathedral de Notre Dame in the background. Rather than the bustle of Paris, this work captures a reflection upon the simpler, hidden, native city life. An early-run litho numbered 39/500B, measuring 8" x 12" sight and 14.75" x 18" in embellished double matte and lightly-stained wood frame, and in excellent condition.
