Spectacular antique portrait of 6 men and a boy, possibly a father and his sons, in front of a Victorian-era farmhouse. Three are seated and four are standing. They're all wearing suits and looking quite dignified. The porch behind them appears to be festooned with a flowering garland. The frame is heavy solid wood ornately decorated with flowers and leaves. The photo is sepia-toned. The caption reads, "R.E. Wildman, Body Camp, Va."
The frame has some holes in it; they look like nail holes, but they're randomly placed around the front of the frame. There are some chips and verdigris on the frame, as shown in the photos. The mat is damaged. There's some dirt trapped between the frame and the glass. The portrait itself seems to be in good condition. The back of the frame is held on with bent nails, and the hanging wire is missing.
The frame measures about 13.5 inches tall and 16 inches wide.
