RAY SCHELL was a self taught artist keen on capturing the mood and landscapes of Southwestern Ontario. Born in Sarnia, he set up his studio in Port Lambton on the St. Clair River. Known for his quick wit, sense of humor and patience - all of these qualities evident in his paintings as well.
Provenance - Purchased directly from the artist by the gallery owner who represented him in Chatham, Ontario in the 1980's. First time offered for public sale. Two other paintings by this artist are also available.
