This figurine is 5.25" tall and has no cracks, repair, mars, crazing or blemishes, it is in MINT Condition. The trademark places the manufacture of this piece Circa 1979 – 1989. It was created by master sculptor Gerhard Skrobek in 1955 and released in 1964 at the New York World’s Fair.

As always, Sister Maria draws to depict the daily items and special events in children's lives. This figurine, titled “Mountaineer”, depicts a young boy who is traveling the hills of Bavaria. His one hand holds onto his walking stick and his other hand points to the Edelweiss flower in his Tyrolean hat!

This guy is too charming to resist.
