A fine and impressive antique George III English sterling silver lemon strainer; an addition to our range of collectable Georgian silverware

This fine antique George III English sterling silver lemon strainer has a plain circular rounded form.

The bowl of the strainer is embellished with pierced decorated circular geometric motifs with an applied moulded border to the rim.

This Georgian lemon strainer is fitted an impressive handle ornamented with an opposing scrolling leaf incurved handpiece.

This antique strainer is a very good example of its type.

Condition
This antique lemon strainer is a very good gauge of silver, excellent quality and in excellent condition.
Full hallmarks to the surface of the bowl are not clear; the nature of this piece dictates the location of the hallmarks, resulting in the maker's mark and date letter being illegible. Please see image 8 for reference.

Reflections in photography may detract from the true representation of this Georgian silverware.
