This fine antique George V sterling silver mustard pot has a plain cylindrical, drum form onto a circular spreading foot.
The surface of the silver drum mustard pot is plain and unembellished.
The upper rim and spreading foot of the mustard pot are ornamented with applied gadroon decorated borders.
This fine mustard pot retains the original hallmarked hinged cover surmounted with an impressive scallop shell decorated thumbpiece.
The mustard pot is fitted with a plain angular handle, ornamented with a subtle pendant drop design to the upper plateau.
The mustard pot is fitted with a removable blue glass liner.
This George V mustard pot can be supplied with an appropriate sterling silver mustard spoon upon request.
Condition
This antique silver mustard pot is a very good gauge of silver, fine quality and in excellent condition.
The mustard pot has been professionally polished and is in presentation condition.
The applied decoration is very sharp.
Full hallmarks struck to the surface of the body and part hallmarks to the cover show signs of wear in keeping with age and location, but remain legible.
