This exceptional antique Victorian sterling silver vinaigrette has a waisted purse style form.

The body of this antique vinaigrette is embellished with chased scrolling leaf and floral ornamentation below a matte texture and tiered leaf decorated border.

The box is fitted with a hinged hallmarked cover embellished with an applied scrolling leaf decorated border the rim.

The upper plateau of the cover is ornamented with a scene depicting Windsor Castle.

The hinged silver vinaigrette cover allows access to the original hallmarked hinged pierced decorated grille.

The underside of the base is plain and unembellished.

This impressive antique vinaigrette is an exceptional example of its type.
