This is an unusual Victorian era large brooch dating to the late 1800's. The focal point is a large glass faux cameo in a tan color depicting a bunch of grapes. There is a nick on one side and a secure crack in one grape when viewed through a loupe. This glass faux cameo is set in a sterling silver (not marked but does acid test as silver) with a looped design. This frame shows heavy patina. The closure is a C clasp soldered to the frame with a slightly bent extended pin stem. Size is 1 1/2 inches in width by 2 inches in length.
